    A protocol update to add memo functionality for simple, shielded and scheduled transfers will take effect on testnet on September 22, 2021.

    New node software releases compliant with the protocol update are planned for Linux, Windows, and MacOS on September 15, 2021. Node runners must upgrade their nodes before the new protocol takes effect. Old nodes will stop processing new blocks at that point.
